This year's conference theme is "Learning Through the Eyes of PTA Veterans." District 12 PTA leaders and Principals are invited to attend the 2017 Fall Conference to hear from PTA veterans on how to be effective leaders in PTA. Presentations will be given by PTA leaders who are veterans in the practices of PTA. 
 
The agenda will include the following speakers and topics.
 
  • Debbie Rabjohn, Georgia PTA 1st Vice-President, "Perseverance in PTA"
  • Donna Kosicki, Georgia PTA Past President, 2011-13, "The PTA Executive Board"
  • Nicole Ponziani, Georgia PTA Fraud Specialist, "Fraud Prevention"
  • Berney Kirkland, GCPS PTA Liaison, "Principals and the PTA"
  • Taiwannika Walker, District 12 Secretary/Treasurer; Area 2 - Gwinnett Council of PTAs Co-President, "PTA'ing on Purpose"
  • Lisa-Marie Haygood, Georgia PTA Immediate Past President, "Building Coalitions"
 
 
Also, Leon T. Hobbs, National PTA Board Member, 2016-18, will be giving remarks.
 
 
Please note that there will be a break mid-meeting to allow Area 3 - Gwinnett Council of PTAs to vote on their 2017-18 budget.

This Conference will bring knowledge and information to our leaders of District 12 and you would want to be in the room, as we continue to pick up the pieces and move forward.
