The District 12 Secretary/Treasurer, will be disseminating ALL membership cards on the dates and times, at the locations listed below. If the President or Secretary is unable to sign for your cards, please send a Membership Chair, a VP of Membership, or any representative from your local unit to pick up your membership cards. Everyone will have to sign for receipt of the 2017-18 Membership cards.

After Sunday, July 16, 2017, membership card pick up will have to be coordinated before Wednesday, July 19, 2017.
Criteria for picking up membership cards:
(Leaders are readers, so I HOPE that each of you have read this message before showing up to pick up your membership cards. You will not be receiving membership cards until these requirements have been met. I want ALL local units to begin 2017-18 in GOOD STANDING!)
*Only those local units with CURRENT officers on file with the STATE/DISTRICT/COUNCIL will be able to pick up their cards, unless an electronic copy of officers is received to this email address before noon tomorrow. If your local unit has not had elections as of yet, please send an email stating such to this email address so that you may pick up your membership cards.

*If you have submitted your local unit officers to Georgia PTA, I will have the list available onsite for you to confirm names of officers and contact email addresses. Know that each local unit was requested to submit the names and contact info for the officers of each local unit to the District and Council, as well. If you have not done so, please email your listing to georgiaptadistrict12secretary@gmail.com .
*Only those local units who have submitted their audit and 990 for the 2015-16 school year will be able to pick up their cards. If your local unit has not submitted your audit or 990 for the 2015-16 school year to the STATE PTA, please email a copy of them to this email address BEFORE picking up your membership cards. If your local unit still requires these items to be completed, PLEASE email me to arrange for such.
If there are any questions regarding whether or not you will be able to pick up your membership cards, please just contact me. My goal is not to be a nuance, nor is it to retain your membership cards. My goal is to help you, help me get my job done as District Secretary.
